The bookshelf page allows you to view the books available to read. These can be sorted A-Z by Title or Author, and viewed as either a list or thumbnails.The Author, Title, ISBN and a description are shown along with links for viewing further detail or reading the book.
The top panel allows you to change your view of the book by clicking on one of its icons. Scrolling over the icons before clicking will initiate a pop-up indicating what that particular icon can change. These include: -- Switch to double pane view -- Switch to single pane view -- Zoom the page -- Fit the page to height -- Fit the page to width -- Toggle full-screen mode
Click on the ‘Text Selection’ tool and highlight the text you wish to copy. Next, right click and select ‘Copy Text’. Finally, right click on the document you want to paste the text to and select ‘Paste’.
Grab is used when an image is displayed in the actual size or exceeds the window size of the image. You can use Grab to move the image around in the same window.
To perform an advanced search, click ‘Advanced Search’ beneath the Search tool bar (this is located at the top of every page). Enter the word, words or phrase you wish to search for in the keywords section, complete additional fields such as author, title, ISBN, category or year, and click on ‘search’.
Type a search term or phrase in the search text box and click on ‘Go’ to search the e-book content, or the catalogue of books available to you. Your search results will appear below the search tool bar, with a column of filter options on the right-hand side of the page. Specific search terms usually result in more targeted results.
Note: The search option is disabled when viewing the book in the full-screen mode.
Search results are displayed in a list, with the page number and title of the book underlined, along with a passage from the text. The word/words that were searched for are highlighted.
Search results can be sorted by author, product or category using the ‘Narrow Search Results’ tool on the left. The number of results shown on the page can also be altered. Click on the underlined page number and title in order to view the relevant page in the book.
